Shown in the admin sidebar and learner navigation. Defaults to "Community".

Contributors-only keeps the directory light and privacy-safe for external audiences.

Members need at least this many posts, comments or downloads to appear in the directory.

Categories learners can choose in the post composer.

Community rules & modules

Controls what learners can see and do

  • Members can create posts

    Turn off to make the Academy read-only for learners.

  • Comments enabled

    Learners can reply to posts in the discussion drawer.

  • Hold new posts for approval

    New learner posts appear in Moderation before publishing.

  • Member directory

    Shows the Members tab in the learner space rail.

  • Show member organization

    Leave off for external academies where learners come from different companies.

  • Direct messages

    Peer-to-peer inbox in the Academy. Off by default — turn on only where moderation is covered.

  • Help center

    Shows the Help center link in the learner space rail. Set the URL on the Help center tab.

  • Upcoming events rail

    Right-hand rail with the next live sessions.

  • Popular downloads rail

    Right-hand rail linking into the resource catalog.
